Community Involvement

This year, we’re pleased to announce the creation of a scholarship for high school students in our region that will allow them to study languages not offered at their schools; and continuing to offer scholarships in our English Language Program that enable students to learn English and assimilate culturally. 

Enhancing our Student Experience & Education

We are laying the foundation for much growth: continuing to build a first-rate library in each language, developing original multi-media materials, creating partnerships with institutions abroad for exchange opportunities, and expanding our utilization of technology as a learning tool. Over the long term, we are working toward full accreditation to set ourselves on par with colleges and universities, and we aspire to offer certificate programs that will appeal to students with professional ambitions for their language proficiency. An important step toward this goal is the development of our own curriculum, which will be designed specifically for the adult learner who is seeking practical skills in a foreign language. We will ultimately be designing original curricula and study abroad programs for all fifteen languages that we teach – a monumental task.

Keeping Tuition Costs Affordable

Like most tuition-charging schools, Seattle Language Academy cannot cover all of the costs associated with providing our outstanding programs by tuition alone. Trying to cover all our costs with tuition alone would mean significantly higher prices for all of our students. (Fifteen percent higher at current rates.)
