SLA TO REMAIN OPEN
SUMMER QUARTER STARTS JUNE 29
Seattle Language Academy is delighted to announce it will remain open for business for summer quarter and beyond.
A successful fund drive combined with good summer enrollments to date has given the Board of Directors and Survival Taskforce confidence to move ahead with planned restructuring so as to keep the academy viable for years to come.
SUMMER QUARTER WILL START JUNE 29!SLA would like to thank the hundreds of friends, donors, employees and students whose generosity and hard work have led to this happy outcome. Over the past 14 years our academy has emerged as the region's leading independent provider of foreign language instruction. The Board and staff of SLA are committed to maintaining the same level of excellence that has distinguished all its programs in the past. At the same time, we pledge to work hard to create a strong and sustainable institution that will continue to enrich the community.
Seattle Language Academy Team
Seattle Language Academy (SLA) is a non-profit language school in
the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle offering both group classes and individual
lessons in foreign languages and in English as a second language. Classes
and private tutoring are available in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Greek,
Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish. Seattle
Language Academy also offers instruction in Latin and Ancient Greek and
features a humanities program with classes in world literature in translation.
