The instructors in Seattle Language Academy´s Humanities Workshops are
either working scholars or hold an M.A. or Ph.D. in the relevant academic
field. Instructors are selected for their expertise, their love for their
field of intellectual endeavor and their commitment to adult education in
the humanities.

Tyler Lansford - Ancient Greek, Latin, Humanities Workshops
Tyler Lansford is the Classics Program Director at Seattle Language Academy.
He taught Latin and Greek for eight years at the University of Washington,
where he completed his Ph.D. in Classics. He is currently writing a travelers'
guide to the Latin inscriptions of Rome for the Johns Hopkins University
Press, to be published in 2007.

Jen Gonyer - Humanities Workshops
A native of Seattle, Jen has over seven years experience teaching ancient,
medieval, and Renaissance literature in English at the University of Washington.
She is currently a doctoral candidate, finishing her dissertation on the medieval
appropriations of the Ovidian myth of Philomela. In addition, she holds a B.A. in
English from Seattle University and an M.A. in English from the University of Washington.
