Bald Eagle Watching River Tour
Sunday, December 14th, 8am-6pm
Sign up by Friday, December 12th at 3pm
Raft down the river and see lots of Bald Eagles!!!
Every year, at this time, the Chum Salmon swim into the western Washington Rivers to spawn. After spawning the salmon die and become prey to the 800 migrating bald eagles from Alaska and surrounding areas. These birds and natural scenery of the Skagit River will be enjoyed by all, on a Class 1 river float! It’s slow water, no rapids. Children welcome.
Your trip will be led by professional guides from Chinook Expeditions. It will include an English class and language learning during the activity. Lunch is also included. Transportation is not provided, but we are happy to help coordinate a carpool for participants. Participants need to leave Seattle at 8am to arrive at the meeting spot on time for the tour. It’s about a 2 hour drive. We should be back around 6pm. |
